Tetrapoli ~ *Four Cities*

Welcome to Tetrapoli, The Four Cities

Tetrapoli, on the other hand, began as four separate towns, Ri, Teibar, Heiban and Azdak, as legend has it founded by four brothers. These towns grew together along the river and were eventually consolidated as a polity. The four districts of the city, as might be supposed, retain the names of the original towns. The expression 'Tetrapoli' in Gorean, incidentally, means "Four Cities" or " Four Towns."

This polity is part of the Vosk League. It is much further west on the river than Ar's Station. It began as four separate towns, Ri, Teibar, Heiban and Azdak. Legend states that the towns were formed by four brothers. The towns eventually consolidated into a polity, the four districts maintaining the same names. The expression "tetrapoli" means "four cities" or "four towns."
 
...I had stopped also at Hammerfest and Ragnar's Hamlet, the latter actually, now, a good-sized town. Its growth might be contrasted with that of Tetrapoli, much further west on the river....

Welcome to the Vosk Delta and the City of Tetrapoli, Once a grouping of four Cities, brought together to become one.  Four Districts, now longer only four Separate Cities, Ri, Teibar, Heiban and Azdak are now all a part of one Glorious City upon the Vosk ~ Tetrapoli.
 
Tetrapoli Is Located On The Vosk River, East Of The Thassa, On The North Bank. It Is North-East Of Ven And West Of Port Cos. East Of Turmus.

Tetrapoli Is A Beautiful City On The North Bank Of The Vosk. It Has Tranquil Waterfalls Of Natural Vosk River Water. The Gardens Of Tetrapoli Are Exsqusitely Beautiful. The Arena Is Always Busy And Full Of Interaction. If You Stand On The Edge Of The Cliffs You Can See A beautiful View Of The Vosk Delta Emptying Into The Thassa. The City Is Setup As A Merchant City, Though It Is Much More Than That.

Tetrapoli is split off by canals, bridges  take visitors from one District to the Other, Each District Specializing in it's own outbound Merchandise. The Council Hall is located in the Teibar District, This is where all Legal issues are brought by the citizens.

The City is not only picturesque but well guarded by the Swords of the City. As a Part of the Vosk League it helps to protect the water ways from River Pirates. Always on Guard the Citizens have grown very well versed on the Protection of Tetrapoli and they have all sworn their lives to that end.
